"I recently had the opportunity to attend the National Sheriff's Association Conference and caught Patrick Esser's presentation on Emotional Intelligence. It was truly outstanding and one of the most impactful sessions I attended.
Patrick has a unique ability to break down the complexities of Emotional Intelligence in a way that's easy to understand and immediately applicable—especially in the law enforcement and first responder community, where it's so critically needed. His passion for EQ and its real-world implementation was evident throughout the presentation.
This was more than just a lecture—it was a call to action for those of us in public safety to be more self-aware, responsive, and emotionally resilient. I highly recommend his training to any agency looking to improve communication, leadership, and overall wellness within their ranks.
This kind of training is needed now more than ever in our field. If your agency hasn’t tapped into EQ yet, I highly recommend connecting with Patrick."

"This assessment was brought to my attention by my current supervisor who took the training several months prior. He spoke highly about it, so I was happy to oblige him and take the assessment myself. I've never been big on these types of things, but it has truly been eye-opening to me. When I got the assessment and went over it with my coach, I really only gave it a quick preview and didn't read it in its entirety. It wasn't util the second hour long coaching assessment came due, that I finally dug deep into the report and the light bulb went off in my head. I initially did not agree with the assessment, but once I read the report in full and then got to have that second meeting with my coach, I quickly connected the dots into where my weaknesses were and how they had manifested themselves into my homelife. As I wind down my career, I realize that I still have room to grow, especially when it comes to how I deal with and interact with my family at home. I can't emphasize enough how much this "awakening" of understanding how I am and how this affects my daily interaction with my family has impacted me. I'm grateful that I took this assessment and how it is going to only improve my relationships/interactions with all of my family at home."
